im looking to buy a decent but not to expensive mixer. i am not to familiar with them so any feedback would be helpful. i have a mpc 2000xl, motif rack, and m-audio controller and a digi 002 rack

Get the most input you can afford under your budget . Mackies are very good, but behringer is not bad if you are looking something to start with.

For all those your going to need a multi-input mixer, with various sends . And as BK said Mackies are the best.
