Hi,
I am Matteo from Italy. I am new to this forum... So sorry for my english and my stupid questions.
I have always used my MPC as a midi sequencer for my band, just to drive synths. Now I would like to step forward with looping and sampling. I am running JJ OS1.
I read the manual and everything else, but I need a practical example...
How can I do a voice loop like the one in this song:

They are **** Buttons, the song is Surf Solar. It seems like a voice sample that change the pitch according to the song.
Thanks for your help!

i suppose you could just sample that song and loop it up in a sequence. if you wanted to do something similar with your own voice, or vocal sample, i would save that sound to a pad, and use the 16 levels function, and bang out a melody with it.

another way you could do it would be, find the original voice pitch, and copy the sample to all the different pads, then pitch it up and down within whatever key you wanted the song to be in, then sequence it.

it seems like there is more than one vocal sample in that song, or at least its getting cut off sooner or later in different parts. experiment around and youll figure it out.
also for this kind of stuff youll want to set up each sample to be in the same mute groups, and the note repeat function might help a lot.
