you need the right kind of cable (depends on your setup), maybe an audio card (depending on your computer and what exactly you are after), and recording software.

i suggest audacity, its free and very capable.

other than that, you need to give a lot more information regarding what you have and what you are trying to do.

ps. you dont transfer the beats on a 2kxl, you have to record them in.

then you need a dual mono 1/4" to stereo 1/8" cable.

and audacity to record into on your computer.

connect your mpc main outs to your computer line-in and then hit record in audacity and play on your mpc. by default, this will save a wav file, which you can burn to cd or convert to mp3 (you can also set up audacity to save as mp3, but that is a little bit more in depth).

That cable would connect the 1/4" outputs of the MPC to the 1/8" audio input of your Acer.

If you are going to use an external audio interface, then you would need a different cable, most likely a pair of 1/4" jack to 1/4" jack cables, if the audio interface had a pair of 1/4" jack inputs.

Ebay search: USB Mixer. Comes in handy for getting, instruments and/or vocals into your computer, even should U change form the XL to something else at some point.

All depends on your budget. Might also compare a search for: USB Audio Interface. There are inexpensive up to expensive options
