MPC Studio running 1.5. I have no effects available. I can't access any. Where my list of available effects should be it just says...

...and there are none listed. What is going on? All the effects are gone?

Your running in 64 bit. You either need to rescan your plugins, back down to 32 bit mode or update your efx from 32 to 64

I'm not using any plugins, so I guess I should go back down to 32-bit mode? How do I do that? ...Or how do I update my effects from 32 to 64?

Do you mean you can't use 3rd party effects as in plugins or the mpc effects?

Thanks for the tip, but I went in and changed it to running the 32-bit version and I'm still having the problem.

I think I must be dumb and missing something obvious here, but I can't figure it out. I forget if I've mentioned it, but I'm in standalone mode.

Have you rescanned your plug ins yet?

Also, how do you rescan plugins? I haven't tried that because I have no clue how to do it.

You gotta put more work in on this stuff yourself man. Setting up the ren software is in manual. Gotta start there brotha.

In your setting preferences in the akai software go to plug in tab and press scan new. If any show up in red there in bottom list while scanning, means those plugins are not working...

Depending on the versions of your plugins or if they have upgraded their plugins to 64 bit will they work in 64 bit mode. Most all will work in 32.

Sit and read the manuals. And you should get the basic stuff wrapped up come holler if you have problems.
