mpc studio help

hello i am looking for some advice.. why when i record a drum pattern, and i try to use the sounds from the bank such as a piano, the drum pattern turn to a piano pattern? can someone please help me ....new to mpc

You need to put the piano plugin/sounds onto a different MPC sequencer track to what the drums are on.
