Hello everyone.
I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I bought and AKAI MPD 26 recently and I am totally satisfied with what I payed for. There's just one thing I can't get a hang of. I'm using Ableton, and when I use the drums provided with Ableton's packs on the drum rack (or any other samples for that matter) when I press a pad it plays the full sound length, but when I sample my own sounds or use others I've downloaded (most of them are .wav files) it only plays for the duration I hold the pad. How can I modify these samples to play either the full sound, or for the duration I'm pressing?
