Help on hardware !!!

New to the MPC game and I've purchased the MPC Studio. Need some knowledge on a turntable and mixer. Should I purchase a nice setup or can I go with the affordable Stanton gear?! Also will a USB turntable be what I'm looking for with my MacBook/studio setup?!

If you're using the turntable just to listen to records and sample, a Stanton will do just fine. But also buy a better cartridge than the one that comes with it. A USB turntable should work fine with a Mac. If you don't have a turntable mixer or a phono preamp, you'll save some money and some space with a USB turntable. I'm not sure if the new models have RCA outputs along with the USB jack. But it would be better to find one that does, incase you want to connect it to a stereo receiver to listen to records without the computer. Check into all that before you decide to buy anything.
