Hi,

so, I just bought a MPC 2000.
I really would like to sample from my Mixvibes DVS System (such as Serato) and go right into the record ins of my MPC. The Problem is, if i connect the cinch outs from my Dj Mixer into the record ins of my MPC, I have no input signal?

To sample into the mpc, I use a cinch to 6,3mm Adapter ( I guess you guys call it a little bit different than in Germany.)

The crazy thing is, if i connect the outs of my mixer right into my monitors, I can hear the sound. But i cant hear a sound when I plug the outs into my MPC???

Im absolutely clueless. Hope that my record ins are not damaged?
Hope somebody can help me.
Thanx in advance

Do the level meters on the sample screen display any signal?

Is the Input set to Analog, and Monitor turned On, on the sample screen.

Cinch connectors are called RCA connectors in many countries.

Do your cinch-1/4 jack adapters have 1 black band (TS), or 2 black bands (TRS)?...
