help songmaking and sequencing on 2000xl

I need help with sequencing. I get what a sequence is, and I know how to build one, but I don't really understand what comes after that. Seq+seq+seq=song but for instance, if I want my drums to loop for 4 bars and them decide I want them to loop for 4 more, is there any way to copy the tracks or do I have to just redo my whole sequence? The manual only scratches the surface. Honestly ove been trying to figure this out for weeks. And it would be greatly appreciated if someone could explain song making/sequencing to me. Or at least your method of making a song. thanks guys

short way:
go to song mode
select your 4bar sequence
set repeats twice
convert song to sequence
choose a location for this new sequence
