Hi All,

New MPC Studio user. Really enjoying it! Hoping someone can help me with this...

My C: drive is a small 64GB solid state which is dedicated to Windows 8 operating system and a few other core software programs, with an array of other drives (D: E: F: etc) to store less crucial software, samples, etc. I've installed the MPC Studio software to my D: drive, and when attempting to install TheBank or The809 expansions, it dumps onto the C: drive automatically without prompting for an alternative install location, as it did with the MPC Studio software.

My C: drive is full-full now, and this is no good! I tried moving the samples manually, but that didn't work. Found the answer to that question here: http://community.akaipro.com/akai_profe ... nk_missing

Any other tips or tricks up anyones sleeve? Thanks in advance for suggestions...

Well.... Crickets here it seems.

I found a Dos/Windows command called a 'symlink' on lifehacker: http://lifehacker.com/5496652/how-to-...

Example --

mklink /j "c:\users\Will\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music" d:\Music\

This line makes a symlink that redirects from the folder c:\users\Will\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music to the Music folder on my second hard drive. This type of use is especially handy if you have a small main hard drive and a larger secondary drive.

....for someone who ever cares or reads this forum, this might help.
