i have no clue why i can't find this listed in the mpc1000 manual...but i've looked and not found it. no troubleshooting? weird.

i had someone put together some samples from protools on a mac. they were exported as:

.WAV files w/ the file extension in the name.
"resolution" set at 16bit
sampling rate of 44.1khz

i dumped them onto my mpc1000 but when i try to load the samples it says "WRONG FILE!".

i think i had this problem before with 24 bit samples.

i am going to put them on my pc and see if they look funny, then put them back on the mpc1000.... who knows.

any suggestions?

that happend to me on my 1000....i had all my songs on 1 cf card and it says wrong file...i tried transfer them omto my ibook and do the chk disk then put them back on a CF card...still fukcde up.....i lost 10 ill heatmakers....prolly guna get the 2000 ...cant have this happen again

i have loaded samples onto my cf card they load fine ,play fine, but after i chop them then save them and create new programs all fine. when i try and reload them i get a wrong file error which is funny it only does it to certain programs its effecting my work and my creativity . i like being able to load different drum kits and other samples and get right to work its nearly impossible when i have to reload everything and rechop everything everytime . need help
