Hey guys, I'm new to, basically everything, I finally got the money to get an mpc and I don't know how to hook it up to Logic Pro x.

The mpc came with a power cord and that's it, I have a MacBook pro. I got a midi to usb cable from guitar center and I've tried to use it but I can't get it to work in anyway or even make sounds. Someone please help me out.

Well first of all... do you know entirely what the mpc is supposed to do? It is a sampler so you sample your sounds into them, save those soundo on a floppy disk or compact flash card.... and you load them up again when you want to.

Why is it that people lately a are buying old mpcs thinking they are for synching to computer software? Should have got an mpd instead.

Still can't figure it out Georgie boy?

You oughta be making beats with that 2000 already. MIDI alone will not get your beats tranfered to Logic, ya gonna need audio. Think of it like this, MIDI is a muted movie. The computer sees whats going on but can't hear anything, so its gonna record a muted movie. Got is? good. Give me a dollar Georgie.
