Hi guys i came along a very strange problem.

i chopped a program on the computer with Recycle or with Audacity like 10 Chops in 16bit 44khz.

When i import them into the MPC as a recycle Akai. akp or as Single Wave files in a Folder or even loose all samples appear to be the first chop!

when i play this exact same files on my computer i have 10 different chops but not on the 1000 or the 500. I don't know what this is and h this happened.

Anyone any idea?

Probably the file name is too long. I think if all slices have the same first 16 characters, the MPC cannot differentiate between them so just loads the first one each time. And Recycle just takes the full name of the sample and adds 001, 002, 003 etc on the end.

solution: rename the rex file to something short and snappy before exporting
