So I just got my MPC 1000 about 2 weeks ago and I purchase both the MPC_Samples Beat Making and MPC Sampling Bible. I have bee slowly going through them just learning the basics and have learned some stuff. I know how to sample drums and other things...one shot type stuff. But I want everything to come from my MPC so I want to be able to sample Pad type sounds like full on string sounds from some of my VST's and a friends synth. I have my keyboard hooked up to the MPC as well...
I can create and chop loops and one hits...but how do I create a sample that will act like a constant pad sound where you don't hear any loop points that I can play from my MPC? As long as I am pressing the keys on the keyboard its playing like a Rhodes organ or a full string section? Is this even possible? You don't have to spell it all out for me..just point in the right direction. If I figure it out in turn I will write up something here on MPC forums on how I did it to help anyone else in the future.
