Fast forward trimming? MPC1K

When I am trimming samples on the mpc1k, i have to spin the wheel all the time.. I dont feel like inputting the numbers manually, cos i really dont have the feel for numbers.. How do i make the trim "go faster" forward or backward? Is there any key i can use to speed up the process? Or do i just have to keep spinnin it over every single hertz?

Dunno about the mpc1k but on the 2k you can do the same with shift + variation slider which works way faster than spining the data wheel.

On the MPC1000 it's shift + left arrow to select tens , hundreds, thousands etc. for any numeric parameter.
