Hey guys, I've read both the manuals pretty thoroughly and I have used the MPC500 pretty extensively but never used another midi device with it. Now I have recently upgraded to an MPC 1000 running JJOS2XL. I have a Yamaha mx49 synth and I want to use it with the MPC's sequencer. I can get it to register that its connected but it won't record notes into seq. All it does is mute notes. Can anyone help me get this right?
