Hello, I’m new with my mpc 1k. I want to export a sequence I just made from the mpc to my pc in a format which can be played by the pc like wav or whatever, is it possible?

NearTao wrote:You can go to song mode, set your sequence (or sequences) and then record audio to a .wav file.

Or output to a recording device, and record that audio.

I ve been trying this way for some time already but every time I try the mpc doesn t seem to have saved anything on its memory, shall I do it while the mpc is connected to the pc through usb cable maybe?

So... not sure what OS you are using... but on JJOS OS3 here...

MODE->SONG
Setup your sequences in order you want to play
MixDown, Set Sample Name, then select Do It
-----------------------------
By default this creates a sample in memory named "Take01"

MODE->SAVE
Save:A SAMPLE
Select sample you want to save (in this case Take01)
Select Folder to save to
DO IT

This will save the recording that you have in memory to your HD/CF

And after you save the sample like NearTao said, you can hook MPC to computer with USB cable, open MPC drive on pc and find your song to copy, change name or whatever.

If it's a long song MPC might run out of memory for the sample depending on what else is loaded in memory at the time. Recording the audio outs maybe better in that case. Then it could go for an hour.
