MPC-1000 AUDIO RECORDING

Hello everyone,,

I have a mpc-1000 with jjOS1 version 5. Can I record audio in while in a live performance? It looks like I have to STOP, then REC+PLAY, then STOP again and PLAY to be able to record 1 audio in track. Am I missing something here?

If it's the case, is there other jjOS that would enable me to record audio in while in OVERDUB + PLAY

I think OS2 or OS2XL might have had a feature like this. Don't remember off hand. Check the site for the comparison chart, and you can always download the firmware for free and give it a try without purchasing a license.
