Hey everybody,

I'm a complete Newbie to the MPC/Synth Universe.
But I made up a plan.

I want to get an Arturia MicroFreak Image to create some nice Synth-Sounds.
Then I want to connect it with a simple MPC, to put some beats to these sounds.

Is this possible?
Like I said, a simple and still good MPC to create some nice Drums/Beats would be nice.

But I dont know what else I need for this project and if it is possible to connect them.

Would be thankful for some help.

Stay safe and greetings from Germany,
Sebastian

Edit:
These are Outputs, in case it would help.

My Moog Subsequent-37 is connected like this to my X.
I’ve read some of the Microfreak manual, safe to use the same connections.
Many other ways to route these things, this is just one way.

You can also use USB, read the manual on what you can use the USB ports for.

Thanks for that. :)

And then I have to connect both to my Desktop PC?
For recording and to hear the stuff I produced.
Because my PC is connected to a Stereo Amplifier which has 2 Speakers.

So I have a Desktop PC.
Then I got an amplifier with two speakers connected to the PC via Cinch.

So I connect the MPC via USB to my PC and the software plays the sounds from MPC and Synth?

No audio via usb per manual, linked above.
Something like this might help.

Any mixer/audio interface can do this job, I just happened to pick a small inexpensive mixer. Some are usb and have lots of features, some don’t, that is something you should look at if you choose.

Running out of bright opposing colors to use here, you gotta catch up, grab the reigns and run widdit..
