Is my note variation slider broken?

Is my note variation slider broken?

i haven't been able to make it change the sounds.
can someone let me know how i can test this.

go into the trim screen, hit shift+f1, hit mem check, hit pad check, move the slider, id it responding?

If you do a search on "note variation slider" you'll probably get more info on how to work it, the manual comes in handy for that to.

What MPC u got?

hey, cooocooo1, cheers
got a 2000xl.
went to the pad test screen and the pads look like they're doing what there suppost to, but the slider ain't doing nothing. shit!
what next - a replacement?
how hard are these to fit?
I'll check on ebay, any other ideas
(ps i am based in UK)
