For the last year I have been using Ableton with a MIDI Controller to make my beats. I would usually just insert warp markers and drag the audio to be right on beat.

With the MPC Live 2, i have ran into this issue. I cannot match the sample's BPM with the Sequence's BPM.

I have done a couple things such as tapping the BPM, which worked a little bit but then I failed, but, let's say that in the sample that I am using, one of the guys goes off beat a little bit. How do I fix it then? Even if I time stretch/warp the whole sample, it still won't match to the BPM... Please help!

Dragging the warp markers in the audio to be right on beat like in ableton is not possible in the MPC Live 2.

Best you start reading up on:
Chopping samples in the MPC
Warp function in the MPC
Patched Phrases

All this and more, is in the manual (in my signature) and additionally you could purchase the MPC bible.
