I just purchased Cubase SX 3 and I currently own the MPC 2000, Korg Triton Le, and the Roland VM-3100 Pro mixer. What I'm trying to do is get Cubase to control the MPC so when I hit rec on Cubase it will control play on the MPC. Can anyone please help me with a setup for my equipment, I really appreciate anyone helping me with this.

i hope the sync is the same for the 2000 as the XL.....
And i'm still using sx 2, but i have a picture of the syncscreen from sx 3 here so i'll try to sort you out.

1. Run a midicable from your pc's midi-out to your mpc midi-in 1.
2. Open your project in Cubase.
3. open the sync setup dialog in cubase
4. Select Midi Timecode as "timecode source"
5. Leave the MTC input "not connected"
6. Select " MMC Active" in the midi machine control box.
7. Set the MMC output to the midi-out you've used above in point 1.
8. In the "midi Timecode destinations" box, select the same midi output again and tick the Timecode follows project box.

9. On the mpc press shift-9 to get in the sync screen.
10. In the left part of the screen, set recieve MMC on.
11. Set it to recieve MTC at 25fps on midi input-1.
