OK so I'm new to the fourm and the whole beat making process. I just got my 1k in the past few weeks and have been going through the manual trying to lean how to use it. Well finally last night i was able to make my frist decent beat!!! Whooo Hooo.

Well the question that I have is how to I properly save it so when I turn it off and then back on I can play the beat again. I have been having this problem of making a beat and not being able to save it corectly to play it again once the MPC is back on. Can anyone give me some pointers?? I'm sick of making beats and losing them when I turn it off.

Thanks in advance.

OK so how do I do this?? I have saved the seq. as a different file name (example. firstbeat). Now I need to save it as a project?? Where is the save as "project" format?? Also when i do this will it save the 7 tracks that I have to make up the whole song?? Also "project" is different than program, correct?? Sorry but this is all kind of new to me so I'm sorry for the lack of knowledge and the amount of questions, but at least I'm asking in the right fourm.

thanks in advance 247beatz

hey theres no need to be sorry. Go to mode:save. Then where it says type scrol to save entire memory and from there you can either save it regularly or save it so it autoloads.

OK so I have saved the seq.....with the program sunny set (i think) So does that mean that when I turn it off and turn it on and call up the seq name "firstbeat" will that call up my beat with all 7 tracks??

What is regular vs autoloads?? I have been in the save page but I'm not too sure where or what I have saved.....I'M NEW!!!

OK then how do you save a project?? Is this the last directions you gave me^^^....

thanks again

...But I think that I figured out how to save it as a project while I was searching for my lost song.

Any other tips you can give me.
