Good channel, I do suggest you remove the MPC LIVE out of the foam case, when using it. Due to the foam blocking heat vents. With these modern mpc's it's important to keep those vents clear. One day it will work fine, then boom crash city.

How you like the Audient ASP8024?

Yeah, my guess is it's due to heat. The side vents, back, and bottom plate is were the heat escape. I think that's why they made the MPC LIVE II deeper, to allow the more heat to escape and more air to get in.

I'm cascading a pair of Tascam DM3200 with all my external preamps patched in via insert to bypass the boards preamps . The board is going firewire out to my Main Rig for 32 in and 32 out. I'm also using it as a control surface for DAW. I really can believe how much gear I got rid of. But as you know it's about having the right pieces in the chain and eliminating the weak links.
