Hi! I searched through 19 pages of this section and lot of links but a few questions still remain. Im using fl studio and cool edit pro 2.0 at the moment and i was thinking bout the way mpc2000 saves tracks.
We record tracks much like this: I make a beat on flstudio, export it to wav, take it to cool edit pro and get my friends vocals on it. Then I always find something to make better on my beat so I do it and take it to Cool Edit and replace the old wav. Now, I read that you may have to record the track live to your soundcard. Ok but, if I change the beat later on and record it again to the soundcard, how im I going to cut the exact same point where the track starts so my friends vox wont sound offbeat? Dont want sound too n00b, but thats what I was wondering.
The future producers link said somehing about resampling a mixdown of the track on your 1000, but does this work on 2000? Im going to have a 2000 with zip drive and 100mb zip discs, can I do it with those?
