This is definitely a question for those of you who have a lot of experience with a myriad of hardware synths. I'm trying to get a handle on what "kind" of synthesizer the Fabric XL is. What hardware synth comes closest to Fabric XL's synth architecture / synth engine(s).

not sure if there's a hardware equivalent other than something like the Montage or Phantom. it's more of a workstation-style swiss army knife (synths, wavetables, PCM samples) than a specific synth emulator like Jura is to the Juno 6
