Using firmware 2.13.0 I am following the "MPC Bible" instructions in chapter 14 "Working with Loops" and the "Sustain Looping Workflow" section, to extend the duration of a note played by a synth.
@MPC-Tutor offers an example where forward looping is used, and does not make it clear that X-FADE only works with forward looping. With the other looping options, the UI still shows X-FADE, but it is not applied. I spent an hour trying to understand what I was doing wrong
Do you know why it is so? Akai should at least show the X-FADE option as disabled when choosing other kinds of sustain looping. Thanks.
