How do I change scale of a given sample piece/program piece?

How do I change a scale of a given sample/kit/program piece?

I loaded kit to the program/sample section, but when I tried to change the scale of that single sound (single sample sound from that loaded up kit) by pressing SHIFT + 16 MODE on MPC hardware, then it doesn't show on the display window of an MPC hardware that there are any scales to choose from.

Is there any way to change a scale of a single chosen sound/sample from the chosen kit/program?

I have MPC Studio 2 midi controller hardware, and MPC software.

Pad perform is not compatible with drum programs, only keygroups, plugin and MIDI programs. Convert that sample into a keygroup program (via program edit) and you cna use pad perform that way.

How to convert sample into a keygroup?

I don't know what it actually means to convert it to the keygroup program via program edit.
