Doubts about mpc 3.x software upgrade and plugin limit

I cannot contain myself for the mpc 3.x update on my mpc one+.

It seems they addressed most of the problems with the actual 2.x interface and its logic.

I have one doubt, though, about the merging of tracks with programs.

Remember that we are limited to 8 plugin sets loaded?

With 2.x version I could use more tracks with the same program, so to speak, multiple tracks will have the same instrument and setting but the could be easily managed track by track (even if its absolutely not optimal).

With 3.x if I add a track, this will be automatically loading a single plugin setting. This is easier and intuitive, and I wanted it so much, but in this way, I can have at maximum 8 tracks with plugins.
I hope they found a solution for this limit or that'll make the plugin feature a lot less useful than it already is.

That said, I'm very curious why Akai invest so much in promoting plugins market if almost any of its hardware is limiting to 8 plugin per song.

Create multiple MIDI tracks, route them to one plugin track via the 'send to' parameter. This would achieve the same as the MPC2 scenario you describe (same plugin, multiple tracks).
