Automating key group filter envelope

I'm on v2,15. I heard you could not automate a filter envelope to All key group, so I tested out a filter envelope on each individual key group ... a very manual process but it worked. There were 9 in total for the synth patch, i then saved and reloaded and it looked like all the indivual 9 filter automations had merged into one, which is great, but just testing this is common knowledge as it surprised me, and that there's not a more efficient way of doing it in this version?

You could Automate the air filter plugin instead. In mpc 3 macros mean you can set up a qlink that can target multiple keygroups (takes a while to set it up though)
