Maybe this is a strange way of doing things, but I’m kind of new to the MPC workflow. I’m on the MPC3 beta if that changes things, but I think this is a general question.
I’ve got a drum program that I’m using for multiple sequences. In one sequence I want to modify a pad parameter in the automation window, for example, set the filter cutoff to 127. But I don’t want that to affect the other sequences. It seems that if I set it in the automation, then when I change to a different sequence the parameter stays the same as whatever the last value was. I guess this makes sense, but I was wondering if there was a way to set some sort of default that it would go back to when I switched sequences, or maybe another way of doing the same thing.
