Hi , so i got a new mpc one plus, and hooked it all up and it installed everything, but I since found out its best to install yhe expansions on an sd card, I have one but didn't know this till after....can I move them over to the Sd card?

You don’t have to. You download synths from akai website, from your account via content manager, in preferences on your mpc change your drive to sd card.

I have key61 and x, I did this same thing, All of my plugins run from installed sata, not from internal drive. You’d do the same for sd/usb stick.

Okay....thanks, so what about the expansions already on my internal drive of the mpc....I apologise if I'm sounding a bit confused, on totally new to the mpc so it's a steep learning curve

I am also a newbie in the same boat.

I bought a MPC X SE and some instruments and expansions were preinstalled on internal drive. I have changed preferences for future downloads to go on my own SATA SSD but the ones preinstalled of course still remain on the internal

Hakai is a solution.

Normal mpc operation doesn’t allow access to internal az-01.
