2000XL...

EZ guys, im currently using Reason 2.5, but really want a 2000XL...
Jus wanna make sure its right for me first... So...

Is it possible to sample from CDs straight from the MPC, like extracting a track straight from CD, or do u have to play it through another system first?

How do u link it to a PC?!? I heard its via MIDI, its just i need to know how to burn a track onto CD from it...

1) yes, you can sample your cd to your mpc

2) connect the stereo output from the mpc to your computer, you can record your beat, save it, and burn it on cd.

do you work with recycle? maybe it's better for you to think about buying an mpc1000, it got a direct USB link so you can easily transfer files from pc to mpc.

No I don't use recycle....

what are u expecting the MP to do..........What do u think the mpc can do that u cant do in reason?

I aint done too much research nope, but i really wan one...

Is it worth it???

Reason is way more capable than a 2kxl, save for actually banging on the pads. Which is were I think the heft of the hype comes from, and it's a worthy point to take notice of.
