Thinking Of Getting An MPC ... Just A Few Questions

Ok some i'm thinking of taking my beat making from reason to the mpc all i really need to know is what other equipment do i need to use it soly for beat production ..i got a mixer and i was hoping i could run the beats (when they're finished) through the mixer into my pc and encode them as mp3/wav files to take to the studio to record vocals over..also if anyone has any experience with both reason and the mpc it would be great if i could get an idea of what the transition is like from pc to mpc ...
