I wanna buy one of either the 2000xl or the new 1000,s there that much difference between the two machines if i was just building hip hop beats?

The 1000 has 6 outs, effects, 16mb RAM, as standard

The 2000xl has 2 outs, no effects, 2mb RAM, as standard.
