mpc to CD /yeah another one

I am getting to the point where I want my music on cd's for whatever reason and I need to start looking at my options.

What is the best way of doing this? 24 Track Recorder, The infamous Pro Tools, sound card w/proper software? Someone please enlight me on this process. I don't want the cheapest way to do it, I want something that I'm not going to regret buying later down the line. Please provide any info you can and I will appreciate it. THanks again.

A personal question for you to ponder upon.......... How much are you willing to invest into your creative process? There are a number of methods you can use to atain this goal.......Multi trackers w/cd burning or software or stand alone cd burners........think about it and holla back fam.....

Not really sure about a budget because I not sure what I need or want to get. If I had to guess a budget little over 2000.00. I'm really looking towards multi-track recorder combined with lets say pro-tools software. This seems to be what alot of other people are using. Just trying to grasp the basics about this process.

I use Vegas 5.0. It can Multitrack and:
Allow you to lay out your stereos files along a timeline and you can place your track markers anywhere you wish and you can burn your whole 74 min audio CD within Vegas alone. Any fx plugins you have installed can also be used in the burning process also.
