Well I use a $50 creative soundcard which I use for everything, and it sounds fine, but I'm sure if I bought a more expensive one, my audio may sound a little better.

But what you need is this http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=42-2551

to run from the line out of your mpc to the line in on your sound card.

Then you need an audio recording program like Cool Edit Pro, or Pro Tools. Cool Edit is now called Audition.

WIth either of these programs, you can record audio onto your comp and then save as a .wav or .mp3 to burn to cd...
