Recording in 'Params' screen

I was just wondering if there is a way.......

The reason i ask is because as i was messin around tonight, i put a sound at 1/16 and had the Tap Tempo on, went into the 'params' screen and as i was holding the pad down i was decreasing the decay from 15 to 5. It actually was sounding pretty tight, so i wanted to record it.

can someone help me on figuring out the best route to take?

well, the best (and the only IMO) way is to record straight to your soundcard and load it back to your mpc.

^^^ Seems feasible......only problem is i dont have a working computer...... still tryin to save up that $1500 for a G4

Sorry....yeah i'm using the XL..... thanks lampdog...i'll DL the manual and try it out......
