So no need for a transformer to step up or down the voltage when you are going overseas, stateside or to Japan. The transformer on the inside of the MPC automatically adjusts for the input voltage. All you'll really need is a outlet plug convertor for the countries outlet..
I just wanted to put this info out there because there was somebody that asked this question awhile ago.
Oh yeah... just remember to use a 3 prong power cord so the unit stays electrically grounded.
