Sorry.. Newbie question... 4K or 3Kle...?

Hi Guys N' Gals..

Ok... 'I'm a newbie'...
Real appologies for the most annoying usual first post, but I've spoken to alot of people and tried looking this up in other threads (If I've missed it please feel free to point me in the right direction ..) but can't seem to get the answer i'm after....

Right... Luckily i'm in the position where I can get either an MPC 3000LE or a 4000..... obviously i'm very happy about this but I just really want to make sure I get THE 'right' one!!

Which one would you say is definately the one to go for? Obviously the 4000 is the newer model, more flexible, bigger storage etc..... But does the 3000 have a 'better sound' ? What are the differences if any, especially in the 'sound' rather than looks, functions etc....

Any help on this would be reeaally appreciated as I really wanna get it right first time:)

My head says MPC4K but my heart says 3K especially if it's the LE. Just make sure it's in mint condition and check the os version. It is expensive if you need to upgrade the os on a 3K.

yeah... I must admit, i was sort of thinking along the same lines from what i've heard....

The only thing is, a few people have said that the 4K just doesn't 'sound' the same as the 3K... yet the features are pretty damn useful...? Is this the case?

I mean, I'm already running my audio off a computer... I don't one another one,.. but with pads (if you know what I mean..!?)...

I want something that is gonna make a 'difference'... as far as i'm aware the 3K will do this, but will the 4K????
