Monitor Levels

I;ve got a pair of Event TR5's and on the back of both are small gain knobs. Could someone please let me know what the correct setting would be for mixing and mastering? Thanks----------------------------ONE

Your settings for mixing and mastering on the montiors should be set to the middle for even sound. The gain is just to increase the sound over-all. I would recommend leaving the gain at normal inless you just want to give more volume to what your listening to.


Your mixing will bring out how well the track sounds, the master will just even and thicken the sound out. If you got a garbage mix then mastering aint gonna do you jack, word iz bond.
