Trying to load beats from Mac os 9 via USB. When I connect MPC 1000 to the Mac it asks me to initialize the disc in order to read it. When I do this it erases all the info on my CF card.
How do I load files from my computer to my CF card w/o erasing the whole thing?
Also after I load the files to the CF card they don't show up anywhere on the MPC, yet those files show up when I pull up the USB icon on my desk top.
How do I open files in my MPC after loading them through USB?
What file type (wav, aiff, akai.program file) should I load samples as inot my MPC?
would someone pleeeease give me a hint....
