i want to lower the volume of a kik but...

its the same kik on one track. you know.?? like if i were to play a double kik, one imediately following the other, how do i make the second kik lower volume? cuz if i just go to params, it changes both kiks cuz there on the same pad....

IF YOUR USING THE MPC1K...

Make a copy of that kick, so that it is a new sample, and assign it to a new pad. MODE>TRIM>[select sample using data wheel]>WINDOW>COPY>[assign sample to new pad]. That is how I would do it. You could try using the Q-LINK slider in velocity mode.

Edit screen you can change the volume of individual events.

You should say what gear you are using next time.

Use 16 levels or step editing easy enough

Step Edit and change the velocity levels.

turn Full Velocity off before you bang em out.

When you want it lower, dont hit the pad as hard

...And this is one reason i love my mpc.
