Loading CD rom Wav. files

Loading CD rom Wav. files

I'm real new to this MPC 2000. I got a CD rom drive (external) and some disks i bought with individual drum kicks in Wav. format. I can seem to get them to load to the drum pads. Can anyone help me with this? I read the manual and still cant really figure it out.

As stated many times b4 a mpc2000 classic can not read standard fromatted cdroms. The classic only reads Akai formatted cdroms. That explains why you can't read those wavs.

If you load them through a cd player it's possible if the player can read the disk.Just go from the headphone out to the mpc in and you should be ok.I use an external drive and load my wav files that way.
