MPC 1K HELP

I'M TRYING TO LOAD SOME BEATS FROM MYCOMPUTER INTO THE MPC 1K VIA USB. I FOLLOWED THE PROCESS THATS IN THE MANUAL, BUT WHEN I GO TO FIND THE DATA FROM MY COMPUTER IN THE MPC IT DOESN'T SHOW UP. THE DATA DOES SHOW UP ON THE USB ICON ON THE DESKTOP OF MY COMPUTER THOUGH.

WHERE DO I RETRIEVE THE DATA FROM MY COMPUTER ON MY MPC?

What type of software are you usin' to record?

I'M RUNNING PRO TOOLS AND REASON ON MAC G4 OS 9.2.

I don't use the 1k or pro tools but the setup should be more or less the same as direct connectin' to a sound card.I think with pro tools you have to connect via midi or something right?Maybe re-check your connects and try again.I'm sure someone will come along soon who can actually help you.Hold on..........

Are you making sure they are .WAV files

I am loading wav. files. But where do those files show up on my mpc. I can't find them anywhere on the cf card once i've loaded em'

Do you have a CF card installed? If so then you should be able ot select your CF card and see the file.
