8-output expansion for MPC 2000?

I just recently copped an mpc 2000 not XL. I know the first thing I want to do is get it upgraded to a level where it can do things as close as the XL. I looked through a few searches and noticed that getting an 8-output for it would be a logical thing to do. My problem is I checked on zzounds.com and they only have them for the XL's and not the regular 2000's. All they have for the 2000's are those FX cards. Can somebody please fill me in. And if they somehow don't make'em for the 2000 anymore what would be another peice of hardware(mixer,sound module) that can compliment my 2000?

the 8-outboard fits both mpc2000 and mpc2000xl there is no separate version for MPC rack version of 2000 has different tho but you can mod that board to work in mpc too. and the FX card eb-16 fits on both too. in here (europe) you can find them allmost everywhere. but the price is cheesy... 250euros ~ 300dollars you could order them from europe but i dont know about your customs..

But the modification isn't that easy for someone who isn't too comfortable opening the mp up.I'm cool openin' mine up but as far as soderin or any type of drastic change,i can't do it.
