Sampled keyboard notes

Hello,
I am new here but not new to the MPC This is great.
Anyway my question is: Is it posible to sample a keyboard sound such as a bass or horn sound and some kind of way play it on all 16 keys going up or down half steps.

if u have the XL use the autochomatic function, very easy

IF not then well, its a lil tricker u will have to do it manually

Thank you yes I have 2000 XL so how would I go about finding out how to use one note and have it on all 16 pads in half steps.
