is there any way i can filter out a sample beyond what the mpc filter's have to offer in regards to getting the low end in a bassline sample?

is there any equipment anyone can recommend for this?

any help would be great.

when I was using the 1k I would take the sample into audobe audition and use the filters in there. Now that I have the 4k thats not needed.hehe

EMC, you can do this on software, or a filter module like the Akai MFC-42 or Electrix Filter Factory . Anything with a low pass filter, like samplers . EQ-ing the sample the best you can on whatever mixer you have will usually give you something to work with, too . But no doubt you're already doing that .
