need any midi kings answers

i have a mpc-2000xl and i need solid answers! when u do a midi dump from keyboard to mpc-2000xl. when ur done do you have to send midi info to the keyboard as well! im very new i have seen the post when somebody showed in depth how to midi dump from motif to mp,but i have a casio wk-1800 keyboard! please give me accurate info on how to do a midi dump and save it to my external zip so when i pull up beats it doesnt take me a year to set up the keyboard track for track! you will forever be king of midi!

bruv there is never a solid answer...however your going to have to wait for someone who owns a casio to tell u exactly how. however, the process is as follows

Save Preset on Casio send to MPC or PC save then when ready to load up send back to Casio from either MPC or PC, its known as SYSEX i think.

A better way is, Saving the name of the sound, bank and pgm number on ya MPC, for example, the PGM number is always stored, but give it the same name of the sound on the casio. this way all u have to do is fiddle with the Bank number on the casio if its the wrong sound and not the pgm number.
