hey whats the deal?
hope your doing better than me
okay here is my problem
i have an mpc 2000
just recently got a new cord for my zip drive (i save everything to zip)
also just got a new systems disc
the beats i have made, have all been saved with the 1.31
now the beats i have most recently made (still using version 1.31) have been saved to zip
but now as i try to retrieve them from the zip disc (trying to load up programs)
the mpc either freezes in the uploading process (so the screen says loading - while it is not - i can tell cause when things are loading into the mpc and amber light flashes on the zip drive )
or
it loads about half of the sounds
and than says 'change disc'
or it just reads 'scsi disc error'
(and will not let me go back to the scsi file that my drive is set to)
the odd thing is - i can upload individual sounds (not all of the sounds - it normally freeze after six or seven sounds)
the one thing that does load
always
are my sequences and songs
i have some old beats that are still on floppy disc
and they load up FINE - WITH NO FLAWS!!!
i hope you can seriously help me with this
whatever it take...whatever it takes....cause i am going insane and feeling like throwing the damn machine out the window....
